12:21pm The registrar rings. Rog's operation is over, he says. "We could repair his valve which is good for him. He is doing very well, he is back in ICU now." We can see him after one hour.

Great news Yvette, hope Rog's ribs mend well and we can get together for a meal and a few quiet whiskys - at least you will have a sober driver for a month or so. give my best wishes to Rog. Ian S, Keith and Andrew S said to say " get well and ask for an implant of thet alcohol enzyme while you are in there" -
- and probably an eye operation to improve his fashon sense.
Thanks heaps!! And a great idea too - I'll certainly have a chat with the surgeons about having the two extra ops done...
He may not have the best fashion sense and he drinks like a teenage girl but he is still our Rog and it's good things went well. We are all still praying for a safe and quick recovery. Take care Dess
